Consolegaming Announces Battlefied: Bad Compamy 2 League

Consolegaming announces Battlefield: Bad Company 2 - Clan League
Hello,
We are glad to announce that our next plan for the Battlefield: Bad Company 2 arena is the clan league. I know many have voiced a wish for us to launch one and we're more than happy to accommodate that wish.
Let us hope this will create a new boost around the game and bolster activity.
The league will consist of 12 teams (with the possibilty of increasing that number to 16 or higher, if there is enough demand) in two groups. Every team will play each other once and the two best teams from each group will continue into a seeded tournament where the winner of group 1 plays team number 2 in group 2 and vice versa.
Rules:
Standard ladder rules apply. Note that SAW and M60 are banned as of now and until Dice balance them.
Note: The hosting rule has also been removed, so both US and EU teams can host. Normal hosting rules apply.
Both the hosting rule and the banning of weapons are rules applying to future ladder matches, too. The tournament is NOT effected by this.
Matches:
You are free to arrange your matches whenever both teams are available, but if you are unable to do this the default match day will be Sunday at 20:00 BST.
The rules from the tournament apply if a no-show occurs: a win will be given to the team that was online and ready. If a challenge was in place a ladder win will also be given, but if not, no ladder win is given.
If both teams show up, but no challenge exists there will be no ladder win, only a win in the league.
Also, since we're starting the league before the end of the tournament I understand it might be difficult for the four remaining teams to arrange their first two matches, but that is something you have to do. It shouldn't be impossible to arrange two matches in a week.
Signup & start date:
Signup starts the coming Sunday 25th at 23:00 GMT. The league will start the week after - Monday 3rd of May.
You can find all information about sign ups, start date and rules here.
You can sign up here.
You may notice that the league says the start date is 2. May, but that is because of some coding. The start date is the 3rd, but no problems if you decide to play earlier.
Deadlines:
First round: 3/5 - 9/5
Second round: 10/5 - 16/5
Third round: 17/5 - 23/5
Fourth round: 24/5 - 30/5
Fifth round: 31/5 - 6/6
Sixth round: 7/6 - 13/6
Playoffs will commence almost immedately after the league has finished.
